For The Jonas Salk Legacy exhibition at the University of Pittsburgh, I transformed an initial poster project into an immersive experience, adhering to university guidelines and honoring Jonas Salk and the polio pioneers. I collaborated with various departments, oversaw the installation, and promoted the exhibit. I’m developing touchscreens and materials for the World Polio Day conference, uniting the original Polio Pioneers and furthering Pittsburgh’s public health legacy.

I was honored to design a book on the 125-year history of Three Rivers Youth, Pittsburgh’s first orphanage for colored youth. This project involved creating invitations and printed materials and organizing an exhibit at the Heinz History Center. The exhibit featured memorabilia, photos, timelines, and a replica of the original home with its swing set. Accomplished in just two and a half months for Black History Month, this project won several first-time awards for the University of Pittsburgh. It highlighted my dedication to an organization that uplifts its community.

During my time as Vice President of PR for the University of Pittsburgh’s Staff Council, I led our Pitt Day of Giving campaign to record success, topping our leaderboard and securing an additional $1,000 through matching Chancellor funds. However, what truly stands out for me is the creation of the Pitt Employee Emergency Assistance Fund. This initiative, which I’m particularly proud of, has been instrumental in providing vital financial support to employees in need. The impact it has had on our community is truly remarkable, and I was deeply moved by everyone’s generosity and support in making this difference.
